Masso Group is founded in 2000 and led by a group of marketing professionals. We are established to provide professional marketing services and consulting for Vietnam market. Masso is the company's master brand, which stands for marketing solution. We have international marketing expertise and local knowledge which are continuously enhanced by our learning and growing culture. In addition, we understand marketing environment and operation practices of Vietnam and Indochina markets well. These advantages make us a destination of branding, communications and marketing services for clients who are planning or doing business in Indochina markets.

Our business scope is summarized as follows

(1) Branding & Marketing Strategy Consultancy: As the company's name, that Masso stands for Marketing Solution, we provide both marketing & branding consultancy across stakeholders, specifically product brand marketing, corporate branding and investor relations or shareholder branding. We offer clients a total solution for marketing & branding, starting from consumer insights and market understanding by comprehensive marketing research (in partnership with research agency), brand leadership coaching, brand strategy including corporate identity, implementation and communications strategy as well as setting a systematic brand KPIs for monitoring/auditing and report. This total branding solution is based on our own strategic branding tool LIP@ which cost us multiple years of research and experience to build. 

(2) Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC): Masso Group can offer clients one-stop shop of an integrated marketing communication campaign that requires an optimum mix of traditional offline communications and online line communication tools. Hence it also mean single expertise such as Advertising, Events Management, Public Relations, Brand Activation and Digital Marketing is one of our marketing communication service, depending on clients' need. This approach is based on our integrated structure with mix of internal expertise and pool of external specialists and experts both local and International.

(3) Digital Integration (DI@massogroup): regardless the growing trend of digital communications, brands seem still struggling on how to catch the digital trend effectively. Companies are wondering how to integrate traditional communications with online ones, things such as LoSoMo, Prosumer. Some brands have tried to utilize digital marketing tools such as SEO, social media, mobile marketing…However a comprehensive integration of traditional communications and digital marketing is not yet reached. As an integrated “branding partner” Masso Group have been active in R&D and established Digital Integration (DI@massogroup), a dedicated team, providing clients an integrated solution for online and offline communications. Together with its strategic digital partners/suppliers, DI can help clients start with social insight research, formulate integrated digital marketing strategy, then manage Implementation of a full digital marketing campaign and finally measure the result.

(4) Marketing Services (Legal name: Marketing Outsource - MO): Cultivating our 15-year of field marketing experiences and local marketing environment understanding, we have been providing marketing services to many MNC brands such as P&G, Nokia, Microsoft...in Vietnam market. The services include field marketing, sales promotion, sales activation, retail channel activation, shopper marketing across 63 provinces country coverage and Indochina markets.

The Core Team

Nguyen Trung Thang, Ph.D. - Masso Group, Chairman

Thang is the founder of Masso Group and acts as Chairman. He has multiple-year marketing experiences in a blue chip company on the local and Asian market. His last posting before founding Masso Group was Business Development Manager for Shell East Zone (Asia Pacific), where he participated in retail strategy and business development across 40 Asian countries. During his working time in Asia, he got an extensive working experience with Mckinsey & Company, the world leading consulting company. Expert in both consumer and retail marketing, particularly marketing communications and strategic branding, Thang has solid records in elaborating marketing strategies, numerous branding and integrated marketing communication projects are under his supervision for International and Vietnamese companies.

Khanh Nguyen - Masso Group, Managing Partner

Khanh started his career in marketing with Shell, Unilever and then dedicated his interest in advertising industry for more than 15 years. He worked for work for global advertising agencies like Lowe, Grey , Leo Burnet and Havas before leading joining Masso Group's BoDs.  With extensive experience in creative, account management and media, Khanh is currently advising creative works for clients at Masso Group.

 

James Nguyen -  Head of Digital Integration
James was graduated from Curtin University – Australia in Business Administration. He is holding the Executive Director position at Masso Group. He has a lot of hands-on experience with digital-based communication campaigns of big brands like OMO, Clear, Comfort, Samsung... Before joining Masso Group, James worked in global agencies (Ogilvy, Grey) and Digital media agencies such as Early Risers Media, MMS. With his IMC and digital experiences, James is confident to lead any communication projects, particularly digital-based IMC. Currently James is leading Masso DI (Digital Integration@Massogroup).

Hanh Ha  -  Head of PR & Content

 

Hanh started her in Media industry with Channel News Asia, Wentretho...Hanh has joined Masso Group as Business Manager  and now Head of PR & Content team. Hanh has  accumulated intensive brands communications experiences across industries including FCGG, Health care, Hightech, Real estate...At Masso Group, Hanh is leading business in PR and Content marketing.

Jackie Nguyen -  Head of Activation & MO

Jackie has been working with Masso Group since the date of graduation. He was rotated to play multiple management positions within Masso Group, including design,production and operation management. With extensive experiences in production and operation and team management, Jackie is now assigned to function as Executive Director of MO, a Subsidiary of Masso Group specializing on field &activation marketing with operation excellence oriented.

Aeris Nguyen (Ms.) -  Strategic Planning Manager

Ms. Aeris studied business administration from Forein trade university . She has dedicated her career in strategic planning across banding and communication industry consistently from the beginning.  She started her career as strategic planner at Create Asia agency, then brand management for Vera brand. As such Aeris can understand both sides, agency and client, thus always meet clients' requirements across brand/communication strategic planning and lead the team to meet any planing challenge.

Nguyen Hoang Loc, MA - Account Manager

Loc graduated from Monash University in visual communication and hold a Sterling master degree in communication art. Loc has 4 years of experiences with event and PR in education before joining Masso Group. At Masso Group Loc is taking care of Account management as Account Manager 

Han Le, MA - Social Media/Content Adviser

Han hold a Master degree in English language teaching from Assumption Uiniversity. She has been working on social marketing across International brands, including Singapore Tourism Board, EVA air, Biotrade, VMI...With experiences on content marketing and social marketing areas, Han is responsible for developing digital integration solutions and integrating them with traditional communications for customers at Masso Group. 

Nguyen Kim Hang -  Event Manager

Hang is very experienced in event management in Vietnam context, particularly corporate events, marketing events. Hang has been 10-year experience of event management in Vietnam context, particularly corporate events, marketing events.  She has been managing many successful client events at Masso Group, such as Toshiba, Pfizer, Castrol, Casio, Tetra Pak, P&G, Tombolini…

Dương Thu Trang - Masso Hanoi,  Chief Rep.

Trang is current holding Chief Representative of Masso Hanoi after accumulating extensive experiences across areas in 10 years working with Masso Group.


In addition to 50 key management staff, Masso Group  has a professional pool of International experts, freelance consultants and and part-time staff,  which can be promptly teamed up when needed. The effective combination of key management staff with professional freelancers allows the group to meet clients' expectations even in the most difficult conditions, always respecting timing and resources.
